Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Lagoon Apartment, we understand that travel plans can change. However, as a boutique property with limited availability, cancellations significantly impact our operations. By booking with us, you agree to the following terms regarding refunds and cancellations.
1. Cancellation Windows & Fees
Refund eligibility is determined by the date we receive your written cancellation notice:
- Cancellations and or changes to the reservation made 72 hours or more before arrival will receive a full refund.
- No-Show and early check-out: In the event of a no-show, the full amount of the reservation will be charged, and the booking will be cancelled. In the event of an early check-out, any unused nights are non-refundable.
2. Refund Processing
Method: All refunds will be processed back to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
Timeline: Please allow 7–10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
Transaction Fees: Please note that bank transfer fees or credit card processing surcharges incurred during the initial transaction are non-refundable.
3. Non-Refundable Rates & Special Offers
If you booked a “Non-Refundable” rate or a special promotional deal, no refunds will be issued regardless of when the cancellation occurs. We recommend checking your booking confirmation for specific rate rules.
4. Force Majeure (Unforeseen Events)
In the event of extreme circumstances beyond the control of the guest or the property—such as natural disasters (cyclones, volcanic activity), pandemics, or significant government travel restrictions:
We may offer a Credit Voucher for the full value of your stay, valid for 12–24 months.
Refunds in these cases are handled on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of management.
5. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover unexpected cancellations, medical emergencies, or flight disruptions, as our policy remains firm regardless of the reason for cancellation (including illness or flight changes).
